Accessibility

Last updated: 11 October 2026

We want every candidate, proctor and exam organiser to be able to use ExamQR. This page describes where we stand today, what does not work well yet, and how to tell us about a barrier. We have not had an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim full conformance with any standard.

Our target

We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA for the ExamQR web application and this website. This is a target, not a statement of conformance: parts of the product do not meet it yet (see Known limitations). We have not produced a VPAT or an Accessibility Conformance Report.

What we have done

Accommodations for candidates

Accommodations are decided by the organisation that runs the exam. If a candidate needs one, they should ask their organiser. We can help the organiser configure it.

Known limitations

Report a problem

If you cannot use part of ExamQR, or you need information in another format, email support@examqr.com. Please tell us the page or exam, what you were trying to do, the browser and any assistive technology you use. We reply within 5 business days, and we will say what we can do and when. If a candidate is about to take an exam, say so in the subject line and also contact the organisation running it.

We review this statement when we change the product in a way that affects accessibility, and at least once a year.
